Print Preparation
I personally prepare each photograph for printing at your preferred size. This may
involve cropping the image as well as standard editing to optimise colours and to
selectively sharpen elements of the image to improve visibility on the final print.
I aim for a natural ‘as seen on the day’ look for my event and motorsport images.
Images are carefully upsized where necessary for best appearance on the final print.
If you have specific editing requirements I am happy to take them onboard where
possible.
Proofing
I currently proof all images prior to dispatch to ensure they meet my high standards.
During this process I check for colour accuracy and blemishes which may diminish
your viewing pleasure. I am somewhat of a perfectionist and if the print doesn’t
meet with my liking I will organise a reprint at no extra cost.
Payment
I currently accept payment online via Paypal or as a cheque via post. If you opt
for online payment you will receive an electronic invoice and can pay using your
Paypal funds or credit / debit card.
If you opt for payment by cheque please note that I will not process the order until
the cheque has cleared. This will usually slow down the receipt of your order by
a few working days.
Handling Your Prints
I advice extreme care when handling prints as the oils on fingers can be damaging
to the finish. I always handle prints with freshly washed hands to prevent marking.
Also note that large prints will come rolled in a tube. Please be careful when removing
prints from the tube and protective bag as they can crease if treated roughly.
Returns Policy
Since prints are made to order I cannot accept returns except for items damaged
in transit where royal mail except responsibility for the damage. Unless requested
all items are sent using recorded delivery and are therefore covered against damage
/ loss. All prints are individually proofed by myself to ensure they meet my high
requirements of colour accuracy and are blemish free. If I identify a fault at this
stage I will request a re-print from my supplier.
Cancellations
I will accept cancellations on orders up until the point at which I place the order
with my supplier. This is often with hours of receiving payment. Once the order
is confirmed with my printer I will not be in the position to return the item and
therefore cannot cancel your order. Please ensure you are happy with your order
details prior to making your payment.
